HUMAN
RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
TechTrek believes that it has the ability
to attract, train and retain highly strung IT professionals.
TechTrek is building an extremely talented, knowledgeable,
innovatively motivated and loyal work force. The company policy
on wages, incentives and upward mobility is such that it would
be able to retain its employees.
TRAINING STRATEGY
The Company invests heavily in training,
including approximately eight weeks for newly recruited software
professionals. It also conducts a variety of continuing education
courses in technology and management skills averaging ten
days per employee per year through a combination of external
and internal faculty.
There are two parts to TechTrek's training strategy. The
first part addresses the common training needs of all employees,
which include:
New
Employee Orientation – covering the history,
vision and mission of the company, including its short and
long-term objectives;
Culture
and Value system, including conducting business ethically;
Behavioral
Skills – team work, communication and interpersonal
relations;
Quality
– TechTrek’s QUALITY
SYSTEMS.
The second part is need – based and
addresses the technical as well as behavioral training needs
identified through a quarterly assessment.
As a result of this two-part training strategy,
a training calendar and curriculum has been developed and
being followed.
